----GAME RULES----
ABOUT THE GAME
This is the best card game for 2-6 players and from ages 7 to 99 years. It teaches everyone to learn, practice, reading, counting skills and recognize letters, colours and numbers. It takes few minutes to learn and 30-60 minutes play.
OBJECT OF THE GAME
The first player to form the sequence “I AM THE BEST" scores points for the cards they are holding in each round . The first player to score 200 points wins the game.
Note : You can also play multiple rounds of Best of 3, Best of 5 and Best of 10 rounds. The highest scorer wins the game.
HOW TO FORM A SEQUENCE
This is a skill-based game that requires players to form a sequence "I AM THE BEST" to win. In this game each player is dealt 10 cards, of which they have to form a sequence by picking and discarding cards from the draw pile as well as managing the score greater then 0 to win.
HOW TO SETUP THE GAME
To set up the game, the deck is shuffled by the dealer, and each player is dealt 10 cards. The remaining cards is placed face-down to form a draw pile. Draw pile is a face-down deck, where a player is unable to see the card that he is picking, while the discard pile is face-up deck that is formed by the cards discarded by the players. The player siting left from the dealer starts the game and race to be the best begins.
The deck contains 80 letter cards, 16 power cards and 8 magic cards.
Please note: Players can add magic cards to the deck to add scoring variation.
For 2- 3 players add 0-3 magic cards in the deck.
For 4-6 players add 6-8 magic cards in the deck.
TYPES OF CARDS
A) LETTER CARDS/POINT CARDS
There are four types of letter/point cards
(total - 80 cards) to score and win the game.
1) Orange cards of +10 points each.
2) Blue cards of +10 points each.
3) Yellow cards of -10 points each.
4) Green cards of -10 points each.
B) POWER CARDS:
There are four types of Power cards (total - 16 cards)
to mix up fun in a game. Power cards can be picked up from the draw pile during the game, but not from the discarded pile, unless a power card is dropped facedown while closing the game by another player.
1) Draw Card : You can use the
draw card to pick one card from
the draw pile to form a sequence.
2) Skip Card: You can use this card
to skip the next players turn to play.
3) Swap Card: You can use the swap card to exchange 2 cards from any 1 player or 1-1 card from any two different players.
Note : If you swap two cards from any player and the sequence is completed but you dont have the 11th card to close the game then wait for your next turn to pick a card from a draw/discard pile and close the game.
4) Stop card: When a player has completed their sequence they place their 11th card face down on the discard pile. If the next player has a "stop card" in their hand, they can play it immediately after the player yell out “who is the best” .When the "stop card" is played, the next player takes the face down card and adds it to their hand and take their turn as usual, by picking a card from the draw pile. The game continues as usual.
C) MAGIC CARDS:
There are 8 magic cards to use as wild card that can replace any missing letter card to complete the sequence.
For 2- 3 players add 0-3 magic cards in the deck.
For 4-6 players add 6-8 magic cards in the deck.
SCORING:
The scoring is done by adding the points given in letter cards and magic cards. If the player ends the game but fails to score points greater than 0, as a penalty -50 is added to their total score.
HOW TO PLAY THE GAME?
The gameplay of "who is The Best" is simple and easy to understand. Each player is dealt with 10 cards. The player left to the dealer starts the game by picking 1 card from the draw pile and discarding 1 unwanted card to start the discard pile. The next player can pick a card from the draw pile or the top card from the discard pile. The game continues in a clockwise direction, with each player taking their turn to pick and discard cards until one player forms the sequence "I AM THE BEST"and wins the game. The first player to score 200 points wins the game.
HOW TO END THE GAME
If you successfully completed the sequence discard the last card face down by asking the opponents who is the best?,if the next player drops the stop card the game continues asusal but if the player doesn't have the stop card you can drop your letter cards with the sequence one by one by yelling
“I AM THE BEST ".
